Gay Crumbs on TV - Brothers & Sisters - Our Gay Gets Some Action
We have been getting some gay crumbs this season. We got the possible gay on Lost, the gay on The Office; and another possible gay on Heroes (I'll talk about that on another post). But did you guys see Brothers & Sisters last night? I think the best gay crumb is on that show.
Our gay
is played by Matthew Rhys, and he already got more man-on-action than Will Truman on 8 seasons. Don't get me wrong, I am one of those who believe Will & Grace was a true watershed for the gays. Will & Grace did a lot. Really. But it was nice to see our gay share a passionate kiss with another guy (played by Canadian actor Luke MacFarlane). Will Truman would be jealous.

Hope you're okay, Augusto! :-)

This is my new favorite tv show & it's not only because it has believable gay characters who are not in the sidelines. It's got great actors & great writing. It just feels real. Okay, Calista Flockhart is not always believable as a hard-core Republican, but she's improving. I can't wait to see what happens to the gay storyline.

I agree with you, Ron. I think Calista is actually the weak link in the chain right now. Sally Field and our gay are pretty good.
I think Calista can improve though, have you seen her in "Things You Can Tell Just by Looking at Her"? She plays a lesbian there, and she rocked. Excellent acting.

Yea, it has been a long time coming. Besides they are really cute together.

Brother's and Sister's is fantastic - The whole ensemble is amazing. I'm quickly getting sucked into the story. I'm very intriqued by Matthew Rhys,a.k.a., Keving. What a great actor and such a hottie. I'll be watching to see how they develop his character. Already he's a down to earth, average kind of guy..like most of us - - - It means the media is slowly but surely coming around - portraying us in positive or at least not different ways.

I agree with Doug. Even though I am not gay or a guy I am getting more and more interested in Brothers and Sisters. I just happened to come across this site.
I am not a lesbian either and I love all gay men and am a total of gay marriage.
