About the man behind The Queer

I'm 38, from Brazil, graduated from law and business schools, having studied in Brazil, Canada and the US.  I practiced mergers and acquisitions for many years with two large firms.  I married a New Yorker (of Irish descent), also an attorney, in 2004, in Canada.  We live in Manhattan with our two kids.

I really like movies, and my friends call me judgmental and opinionated.  They always liked my all-or-nothing take on movies, even if they don't agree with me.  Well, now my thoughts are out and about.  Visit often.

Hi, Augusto. I've just recently come across your blog, and I have to say I just love it. I'm a big fan of the movies myself, and I actually write for a local magazine (I do the recent DVD releases section) as a hobby. Keep up the good work!
