Here Steve Martin is in a pretty serious role. He is a middle-aged, successful, businessman who has an affair with Claire Danes. She is super in the movie (you must check out her outfits though, you will think it is your crazy spinster aunt in the movie -- atrocious, really -- it's like she was in a hurry to leave, and grabbed hold of a tacky curtain to wrap her up for her journey). Jason Schwartzman is the competition for Steve Martin. He is a loser. The movie is quite good (some even loved it). Go rent it.
