The Matador tells us the story of a hit-man, former 007 Pierce Brosnan, having a nervous breakdown and finding a friend, played by Greg Kinnear.
Pierce Brosnan's character might have been bisexual, but evidence of his bisexuality in the movie is thinly suggested at best. You need to do some research to find bisexuality in this movie.
Our bisexual content could be in the first scene when Pierce Brosnan meets Greg Kinnear. Pierce and Greg are staying at the same hotel in Mexico, and Pierce approaches Greg Kinnear at the hotel's bar, saying that tequila and cock taste better in Mexico -- Greg Kinnear gets all riled up, and Pierce Brosnan explains that it was all just a joke, and that he understood that line was a real "conversation killer." Don't you think the conversation would have been different had the comment included a womanizing, rather than gay, remark?
Well, a "cock tastes better in Mexico" comment could certainly be construed as evidence of Pierce's bisexuality in the movie but there is little else there (later on, Pierce also comments on male prostitutes in a foreign country, which might also be construed as evidence of Pierce Brosnan's character bisexuality, but it's all very subtle/unclear).
