I do thank you all for the nice comments. Cristiano Ronaldo, these days called the Prince (!), isn't everything. There's a whole team being fabulous, and there's a coach, Felipão, who is someone I sincerely respect (which I seldom do, as far as soccer/football is concerned). On Wednesday, however, France will have to prove they're just not playing against inertia, which was, unfortunately, the case of Brasil. I felt really sad about it. Translating the slogan you hear here on the streets all the time: Strength Portugal! Bye-bye!

Fred

I love Cristiano, but I will pray for France's victory ! What a great team ! They were perfect against Brasil which belongs all best players. Allez la France !

Go Portugal! Go Felipão! Go Cristiano Ronaldo!

Portugal has a great team and its squad may very well win this World Cup.

I believe your own deep thoughts are different... But I understand.
Look forward to seeing what will be posted next Wednesday, after France vs. Portugal...
