Better than mediocre, but not quite good.
In this Russian movie, we see a battle between the forces that control the daytime and the forces that control nighttime.
The plot was sort of interesting, but the movie had quite a bit of tacky scenes, like a an old turbo van letting fire out of its ass.
This is part of a trilogy, and I will consider watching the other two movies -- I don't really know why. This one I saw on a plane from Miami to Seattle.
I guess you can rent it, but don't expect much.
Very philosophical, Marcus! «Yo soy yo y mi circunstancia» did say Ortega y Gasset...

I saw it in a movie theater last year.
I don't think it's really a bad movie, considering its Russian.
Sometimes I like to "undersatnd the circumstances" of the movie before I say it's good or not.

Guess I owe it to the Muses... :-)
Thank you!

I see what mean, Jason. You need the confined space of an airplane to see this..and I can't sleep on airplanes...
RIC, more poetic than usual. I like it.

We started watching that and fell asleep somewhere in the middle. Didn't care to pick up watching where we left off, so we returned it.

For all I know, long rivers will flow under many bridges until gay contents will just shily emerge on a Russian film...
