i am late in posting, but Noah, are you refering to the same history books that removed the persecution of jews, gypsys, and gays by "outlaws".
whose history do you want to believe. history has been written and rewritten so many times.... what is true?
dont read books. they lie. depending on who is writing them.
Yea JJ killed lots of people. Get over it. Who cares. This is a country that just does not care about anyone but themselves. Remember we voted in Bush twice. Stop trying to fight the wrongs of dumb Americans. Just go along for the ride and have fun.
Jesse James was a vicious, cold-blooded killer who murdered children, women, and men as part of a terrorist campaign against Northerns during the Civil War. Portraying James as a hero is like celebrating a Nazi prison guard.
God, Hollywood is just so disgusting in its attempts to play off the ignorance of Americans and make heroes out of James and his brother Frank. Hopefully, this movie will be as big a flop as that other wretched attempt to white wash history, "The Alamo." Hello, someone should read a history book and learn that so-called heroes of Texas were slaveholder who didn't want to obey Mexican law that forbade slavery.

This was not the first movie involving Jesse James, and something tells me it will not be the last...
