Saw it and posted my review of it a few months ago-it's pretty lame, well acted, but ultimately adds up to nothing-Sharon Stone and Demi Moore are great, but Ashton Kutchner was ridiculous.

Bold Oy!

I will still watch a mediocre movie if I really like one of the actors.

I became a fan of Sharon Stone on Casino. She rocked that movie.

I don't think good actors necessarily pick good movies. In fact, studios will often pick good actors to make their bad movies bankable, methinks.

With that said, Christian Slater was my first celebrity crush. I wonder how he's holding up nowadays.

And Sharon Stone. I was a big fan during the 90s, mostly because of Basic Instinct: a man-killing lesbian, what's cooler than that?

Hey RIC. I agree with you. A lot of times though, I think good actors tend to choose good movies and it makes it easier for me to pick the movies I want to see. Of course, a good cast is not at all an insurance the movie will be good, but it's an indication.

Have a good weekend!

Movies are made with pictures, ideas and words, in the first place. If you can «afford» a good actor/actress, fine. But he/she alone won't ever make a success... And that's okay with me.
