Can't Get Enough of Niecy Nash

I said here before that I am really into Reno 911.  I think the show is really funny, and the funniest characters are played by Niecy Nash (IMDb page).  Take a look:

She also plays the crazy T.T. on Reno 911 (they always put a blur over her face):

Niecy is the host of Clean House (I included a clip for that after the jump) and has appeared as a correspondent on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. I hope we get to see her more often.  Keep us laughing, Niecy!

Aaron Eckhart - Sick of Him - But I'll See Thank You For Smoking

I only liked him in Erin Brockovich.  But there are other reasons for watching Thank You For Smoking:

1. Sam Elliott.  He has pretty much only starred in smaller roles.  He did well in one of the few leading roles he was given (see Off the Map). 
2. Katie Holmes.  Just so that I can wonder how many takes it must have taken her to be able to get the "Yuppie Mephistopheles" line right.
3. Rob Lowe.  Just because.
4. Maria Bello.  She was outstanding in A History of Violence.

I saw this trailer before Winter Passing.  I'll publish an angry post on Monday about Winter Passing.  Meanwhile, you can watch the trailer for Lonesome Jim.

Josh Hartnett Wrapped in a Towel All Movie?

It appears he is going to spend the entire movie wrapped around in a towel.  And the movie looks interesting too.  Watch the trailer here.  I'll definitely see it.  I saw the trailer last night, before The Libertine (also released by The Weinstein Company).  The Libertine review will be posted here on Monday. 

Matthew McConaughey on Jay Leno

Does anyone have the video for the interview last night?  I thought Jay Leno was actually a bit cruel when he asked Matthew what he would prefer as a God's gift: some sport championship title or an Oscar.  Matthew was all like:  Oh, I got some work to do before an Oscar. 

I figured out the work he needs to do, the work that needs to be done in his case is called rebirth (the real thing I mean, like Jesus herself).  Good luck with that Matthew.  As a consolation prize, I will see Failure to Launch.  On DVD.
