The QB was right! M.C. Gainey, whose character name is Tom (nom-de-drag "Mr. Friendly"), is indeed our gay on Lost.
On tonight's episode "Meet Kevin Johnson" Tom even kissed his, uh, friend, Arturo (played by Francesco Simone). It is not clear if Arturo is Tom's boyfriend or just some sort of rent-boy. Watch the episode to see the context of the gay revelation (you can read the spoilers at lostpedia -- I will post pictures as soon as I get my hands on them).
Now it's official, it is impossible to make this man look ugly.

Do you guys remember me wondering about a gay in Lost? Well, I just saw the season premiere and it looks like we may have a gay.

He is one of the "others" though, he goes by Mr. Friendly, and he is played by cutie M.C. Gainey (below in a scene from The Dukes of Hazzard).
In tonight's episode, M.C. Gainey was trying to have Evangeline Lilly take a shower, and she said she wouldn't shower in front of him, and he responded with something like: "Trust me, you are not my type." Now seriously, take a good look at Evangeline:
She is drop dead gorgeous...she is almost my type for chrissake. So, only a gay guy would say something like that to a girl like Evangeline, don't you think?
A post on Bent reminded me that I did not see Lost's season finale. For some reason it took me forever to watch the last episode, but I finally saw it.
I provide some info on the very last scene after the jump. Particularly, I will discuss the language spoken in that last scene and some possible reasons for that (all out of my butt). Of course, the discussion will spoil the episode.

I couldn't agree more with The Advocate. After seeing last night's Lost episode, I was thinking we saw a great deal of diversity in the show, all great. An inter-racial couple, Asians, Arabs, Latinos, fatties, everything was in already. We also caught a glimpse of the past of the diverse characters. Go Lost!
Now, where's the gay? Show us the gay! We know he/she/MtoF/FtoM is there somewhere! Give us a good one, someone who just opened a water Spa, some fancy sushi place and/or a Home Depot on the other side of the island. I don't want a gay in The Others though. Screw that. Nasty people.
Sometime ago, the blond chick that was going to date Said (before badass Ana Lucia shot her in the face -- hey, Ana would be a great lesbian!) suggested Boone, her brother, played by Ian Somerhalder, could be gay and into daddies. After being gone for the whole day for several days with Locke, the blond asked Boone whether Locke was his new boyfriend (I know, ewww). Now note: new boyfriend, which suggests he had a boyfriend before. Well, we had no additional mention of the subject after that. Both brother and sister are dead now, and he was into her (double eww). Oh, remember that Ian went gay in The Rules of Attraction, a great movie I saw long ago.
